Namirembe Shabillah has made Kakungulu Memorial school Kibuli proud by emerging the top star among their 21 stars that passed in [A grade] or excellent position among a total of 331 candidates that sat for UCE 2024.
The Super Supreme Mufti sheikh Mahammad Shaban Galabuuzi congratulated the candidates during a brief thanksgiving duwa yesterday at the school for the good performance saying they should remain focused as the future was largely a turbulent society full of challenges.
He cautioned them to desist from any acts that may corrupt their morals and vowed to continue giving spiritual nourishment messages as a deliberate vehicle of guiding them walk a careful journey in the world of education.
The headmaster hajji Jamil Buwembo told this website on the sidelines of the prayers that out of 331 candidates they fielded, 21 passed in excellent position [A] 153 [B] while 157 [C] respectively which development grants all of them a [UCE] UNEB certificate to progress to S5.
He pointed out that despite a few challenges such as the cost of teaching or study tools like machinery for various projects such as confectionery, agricultural implements among others, they managed to excel thanks to Allah the most merciful and granter of wisdom.
Magisim Fahad got A-Biology, A-Chemistry, A-Maths, A-Geog, A-Islamics, B-Physics- C-History and C- ICT respectively.
The other top stars included Nantege Fahima, Abubakar Nabende, Mutenyo Victor, Namatovu Hamisa, Namutebi Nadia ,Kabika Eli,Kaweesa Shifrah, Ainebyona Godfrey and ZZiwa Abudalatif among others.
They all collectively thanked their parents for the funding support, school board for the conducive learning environment as well as the teachers who empowered them with the knowledge among others.
