The search for Miss and Mr University Uganda is Back

In addition to receiving the title, the winners of Miss and  Mr. University Uganda will be rewarded one year tuition and also will have an opportunity to represent  Uganda on the international level

The ball to find the face of all universities has finally been rolled and the search is on. Miss and Mr University Uganda  aims at  promoting  creative talent and high levels of entrepreneurship among University students, the pageant encompasses and attracts all beauties from all Universities in Uganda to come together and celebrate beauty and talent.

Mr. Kanyike Allan, the President of Miss and Mr University Uganda initiative  said that the 6th edition  has attracted 12 universities across the country  and will  run under the theme “Empowering Intellectual Beauty”. He explained that the grand finale  where the winners will be crowned is set to take place on 12th /April at theater Labonita.

Nahurira Desire, Nkumba University

Kanyike added that the event will include mesmerizing talent showcases, electrifying cultural performances, and fashions displays that will climax with the crowning of Mr. and Miss University .

Commenting on the pageant, Nakakande Immaculate from Uganda Martyrs University Lubaga Campus said that she will be crowned. Relatedly, Professor George William Nasinyama the Campus  Director believes that Nakakande is the perfect contestant to raise the bar for  their  university .

Natnael Mussie, Cavendish university

Cavendish University’s Nantnael Mussie, a year two student  pursuing a diploma  in Information Technology and Sonia Bazatoha vowed to take the crown.

Mary Nabatanzi, the Students Life Officer in the  Dean of Students Office  said that  being part of such an outstanding  pageant is a learning experience  for  their  contestants.

She further said ”No matter the outcome we are still proud of our contestants  for being able to participate ,participating gives them an opportunity to improve their lives in all aspects  both mentally and socially”.

Kyeyune Moses, Nkumba University

Kyeyune Moses and Nahurira Desire from Nkumba University were  grateful for being among the contestants.

Muyiira Joseph, the Nkumba University Acting Dean of Students stated ” Because of the good influence, involvement, leadership and academic ability our  contestants have , they will win the crown”

Other universities in the competition include Team University, students can rally behind their contestants and cast their votes by visiting African Vote to bring the crown home .
