As the national coordinator of Generation Seven, I appeal to everyone to fully backing the Ugandan government’s plan to rationalize the Uganda Coffee Development Agency (UCDA) and bring it under the Ministry of Agriculture. This move aims to minimize resources and reduce duplication of work, ultimately benefiting the country’s development

The UCDA has been instrumental in promoting Uganda’s coffee industry, improving quality, and increasing exports. In fact, coffee exports reached a record-breaking $1.14 billion in the 2023/24 financial year, with Uganda’s coffee being in high demand globally for its quality

As Generation Seven, we believe that all coffee belongs to Ugandans, and this move will ensure that the industry is more efficient and effective in serving the nation’s interests. We are urging all Ugandans, especially coordinators of Generation Seven coordinators country wide, to support this initiative and defend the country from those who oppose progress.

Key Benefits of Rationalization:

Reduced Duplication of Work: Streamlining agencies will eliminate redundant functions and costs.

Improved Efficiency: Bringing UCDA under the Ministry of Agriculture will enhance coordination and decision-making.

Increased Transparency: This move will promote accountability and transparency in the coffee industry.

By supporting the government’s plan, Generation Seven is demonstrating its commitment to Uganda’s development and the well-being of its citizens especially all coordinators of generation seven, as we continue to advocate for this initiative, remember to emphasize the benefits of rationalization and the importance of unity in driving progress. And with that is our stand.

In conclusion, therefore my dear members of the National team. Mr. Godfrey Nuwasiima , Mr. Asiimwe John, Mr. Walter Abong , Ms. Nalukwago Shamim the head of the women’s league. Let us avoid any conversation with anything against any tribe because it is dangerous ,we should focus on promoting love amongst each other,  don’t mind those who talk about you or against  you but spend all your energy on amending what has gone wrong within , therefore, let’s keep sensitizing our coordinators  of generation seven country wide for the good . We love you and let’s stay focused, only good things are a head of us
