On Saturday 25th January 2025, All streets of Kampala were painted red with real magic and the refreshing taste of Coke in iconic glass.
Revellers in Kampala City were left speechless with unforgettable entertainment moments from Coca-Cola team.
The Activations brought smiles, joy, and unforgettable moments to the heart of the city while rallying the public to experience the refreshing taste of Coke in its iconic bottle.
The team exhibited a FANTABULOUS drive through Kampala City while delivering a couple of gifts as well as free soda to Kampala revellers.
During the Activation, revellers were invited to share their experience enjoying Coca-Cola in it’s classic glass bottle; an experience that feels richer, colder and more refreshing.
There was also fun fare for road users at the Mapeera Junction, Wandegeya Market and Eso Corner.
In Uganda Coca-Cola operates under the name “Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda” (CCBU), a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA), which bottles and distributes iconic Coca-Cola products like sodas, juices (Minute Maid), and bottled water (Rwenzori Pure Natural Mineral Water) across the country; notably, CCBU is known for its significant investment in plastic recycling through its “Plastic Recycling Industries (PRI)” plant in Kampala, making it a leading player in Uganda’s recycling efforts; the company is headquartered in Kampala and operates bottling plants in Namanve and Mbarara, previously known as Century Bottling Company and Rwenzori Bottling Company respectively, which were merged to form CCBU.
