The deputy speaker of parliament Thomas Tayebwa has asked parents to take up the responsibility of ensuring that their children are immunized againstĀ  Malaria

He made the remark during the 3rd edition of Malaria Walk 2025 in Kampala where he officiated as the chief walker at parliament.

The function brought together school children, members of the development partners, civil society organizations and NGOs advocating for malaria immunization among other stakeholders

TayebwaĀ  challenged all parents and leaders including both religious and cultural leaders to support this campaigns by encouraging the immunization of all children inĀ  communities for the good of their heath.

State Minister for Energy and Mineral Development Hon. Phiona Nyamutoro was among the notable participants.
