The Uganda Institute of Banking and Financial Services (UIBFS) has announced entrepreneurship and business skills program for young persons, scheduled between 20th and 31st January 2025.
The program is designed to equip participants with the tools needed for successful entrepreneurship and effective financial management, develop critical business skills, enhance financial decision-making capabilities, among other things.
“In today’s fast-paced digital landscape, digital proficiency and computer literacy skills are essential for personal, business, and professional success. These courses are rich in employability, productivity, creativity, monetary skills and problem-solving abilities in the digital realm for young adults.” said the institute, adding that “Whether you are a beginner looking to build foundational skills or a seasoned professional seeking to expand your expertise, this catalogue offers courses, and tools to help you navigate the ever-evolving digital world.”
The institute has urged young people to embrace the opportunities that digital skills provide and empower themselves to thrive in an increasingly technology-driven society.
