Chief of Defense Forces Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba Announces Break from X (formerly Twitter) to Focus on Military Duties
In a statement by Colonel Chris Magezi, the Defence Public Information Officer and Military Assistant to Gen. Muhoozi, it was revealed that Gen. Muhoozi will be stepping away from X for a few weeks to prioritize his military responsibilities.
“I have taken a break from X for a few weeks while I fight for the good people of Uganda and the region against the forces of sheer evil in eastern DR Congo. Please pray for me!,” the post read.
The decision comes amid ongoing deployments of Ugandan forces in the conflict zones of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and South Sudan.
Gen. Muhoozi had recently become active in the political sphere, sparking debates and discussions on social media.
