Generation Seven, a pressure group of the ruling party National Resistance Movement has established anew strategic mobilisation approach dubbed Model Person Initiative(MPI) ahead of 2026 General elections.
“We have reactivated our structures and are now poised for enhanced productivity. Our forthcoming activity in Jinja was postponed to allow the completion of data collection and verification for the Model Person Initiative.” Said Stephen Mukasa, the National Coordinator, Generation Seven.
“We appreciate your participation in the ongoing Model Person Initiative, aimed at empowering all Generation Seven coordinators nationwide. This approach will support individuals through their various endeavours. We have also created this platform for uniform information sharing and general communication.” He said.
He emphasized that “the Model Person Initiative will be our primary strategy for the 2026 campaigns, focusing on a village-level approach to streamline our mobilization efforts,” Adding that his platform will enable them to monitor and support coordinators to smoothly execute their work nationwide.
“When sharing your thoughts, please provide your name, region, sub-region, district, sub-county, parish, and village for clarity. Please refrain from posting unrelated content, ensuring our focus remains on Generation Seven.” Mr. Mukasa told members.
He appreciated those who have completed their work on the Model Person Initiative, adding that very soon the group will embark on computerizing all areas and specialties, that will enable them plan better during distribution of materials, seedlings, items, and equipment for enhancing the livelihoods of the members.
Regarding the postponed training in Jinja, we will announce the new date once data submission and verification are complete. He stated
“As we approach the new year, we envision a year of blessings, commitment, success, and achievements. We will visit the elderly in all regions, with updates to follow.” He said.
He concluded that “Our thoughts are with our coordinators who have faced challenges, including Mr. Charles Angiro, Eastern Region Coordinator, Mr. Yusufu Kuluba, Budondo East Coordinator, and Mr. Lukwago Akraam, Eastern Region Coordinator, who is currently unwell. We also extend our condolences to those who have lost their loved ones, including our brother Asker Steven of Kabalole district. We wish you a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.”
