As Miss and Mr University beauty pageant approaches, more contestants are likely warming up by practicing their walk,posing and interview skills while also focusing on physical and mental preparation to build their confidence and grace .
More aspirants to the title Mr and Miss University have spoken out on why they took part in the competition.

Abaho Abegail from Makerere University Business School (MUBS ) expressed joy over joining such a big platform that will help her empower her fellow students .
”Students experience a number of challenges and this platform will enable me to reach greater heights and easily support them”Abaho said.
Mawanda Abdul Kabanda who is also from MUBS said that it’s a great opportunity for him to be part of the pageant adding that if he wins the crown he will highly push his university and the pageant agenda .

Tumwine Enock and Bainomugisha Alicia from Uganda Technical College Kichwamba assured the public that they are ready to win the crown because they have through a strong and enough practice.

King Ceasor University’s Tuhimbise Elizabeth said that her move to contest in the pageant aimed at celebrating women most especially in universities.

”If I win the Miss University title, I will use it to sensitize more girls, especially those that are willing to join university so that they can easily achieve their academic goals without any obstacles”, Elizabeth narrated.
This 6th edition will run under the theme Empowering Intellectual Beauty and the brand finale will take place on 12th/April at theatre Labonita .Students can vote for their contestants via African Vote.
