All motorists intending to use the Nakawa-MUBs route to Portbell should seek alternative routes following the ongoing construction works.
The Kampala Capital City Authority issued an advisory regarding the closure of the Nakawa Bridge, which is situated after the Makerere University Business School.
“KCCA wishes to inform the general public and road users that there are planned works involving movement of T-Beams around the bridge at Nakawa (after MUBs) along portbell road tomorrow October 5, 2024 from 8am to 5pm,” the announcement read.
Although the work was scheduled for completion in one day, the road was today till closed to traffic up to the present time.
