The examinations body, UNEB says today is the Last call for submission of project work and Continuous Assessment ( CA) Scores for S4 Candidates.
‘’The Board hereby reminds Heads of UCE Centres that today, October 30th , 2024 is the last day for the submission of project work and Continuous Assessment (CA) Scores for S4 Candidates, under the New Lower Secondary Curriculum. All those responsible for the submission of this school based assessment work for the candidates are hereby put on notice to ensure that they do so before closure of business today’’ said UNEB senior public relations manager, Jennifer Kalule Musamba.
According to her, the submission is done online via the school portals using the Assessment Management Information System (AMIS) tool that was provided to all schools during and after the training sessions by UNEB.
‘’However for avoidance of doubt, UNEB has set up a Rapid Respond Team to support schools that may be finding challenges in uploading the work of the candidates.
Schools can call our toll free lines; 0800- 111-427 or 0800-211-077 for guidance. Alternatively, they can upload the scores and the project work on CDs and deliver the same directly to the UNEB offices either in Kyambogo or Ntinda. Our Response Team will help to upload them on the portals’’. She said.
The Continuous Assessment Scores will contribute 20% to the final achievement of the candidates. Learners whose scores will not have been submitted to UNEB shall NOT be graded.
Parents and guardians are hereby advised to cross check with the schools of their candidate children to confirm if their scores and project work has been submitted to UNEB.
