Reagan Kateregga, the head teacher at Fort portal secondary school said that his school has continued to register tremendous perfomance in the UCE examinations each year.
‘’We are grateful for a good performance that we have posted each and every the other year. This time round, according to the new curriculum, we are grateful that, again, we have outshine so many schools, and our learners have made it. When you look at some science subjects like biology, including mathematics, our worst has a ‘’C’’.
He added that students that were outstanding are over 68. By God’s grace, we don’t have any student who scored anything like elementary ‘’E’’ copy in any of the subject.
”I attribute the performance to the cooperation between us, the teachers, the parents, learners, not forgetting the directors, who are the financers. Because when the directors are not focused, of course, you can’t make it. It begins with them.” Mr. Kateregga said
He emphasized that Fort portal secondary school is looking forward to get better as far as the new curriculum is concerned. ‘’we have had quite a number of workshops which have been attended to very well. And in addition to that, we have a lot of internal strategies that adhere towards the improving our performance, because each year, we only think of bettering our best. We set our records, and break them’’ he remarked.
