Popular young rapper Patrick Ssenyonjo, better known as Fresh Kid, has once again showcased his talents beyond the music scene by achieving remarkable results in his Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE).
The young artist scored an impressive aggregate 11, placing him among the top performers at Kampala Parents’ School, where he has been on a full scholarship since he was seven years old, thanks to the generosity of businessman Sudir Ruparelia and chairman Ruparelia Group.
Fresh Kid took to his official X account, formerly known as Twitter, to celebrate his academic success and the completion of his primary education, sharing his results with his fans.
His certificate revealed he earned a D2 in English, D2 in Science, D3 in Social Studies, and a 4 in Mathematics.
In a joyful moment captured in a photo, Fresh Kid was seen being carried by his teachers, with his father Paul Mutabazi by his side, marking the occasion with great enthusiasm.
The school principal, Daphine Kato, praised the young talent for his remarkable performance.
During a media interview, Fresh Kid expressed his gratitude to the Ruparelia Group for providing him with an educational opportunity. He shared insights on how he juggled his music career with his studies, ultimately finding a way to succeed in both.
“I spent sleepless nights reading, which ultimately helped me attain good grades,” he added.
Presidential Advisor Nakiwala Kiyingi announced that Fresh Kid is under consideration for a secondary school bursary at Cambridge International School Kampala (GEMS).
However, the final decision is pending approval from the school’s board.
